Pet Namings, Weddings & Memorial Ceremonies
Pet Naming Ceremonies
Bringing your puppy, kitten, bird, or other baby pet home for the first time is so exciting. You are its new parents, this new life is dependent on you for love, warmth, care and security.
You want to celebrate their arrival with a naming ceremony to introduce them to your family, friends and community. You also want to acknowledge family responsibilities in the care of the new household member.
I can create the perfect naming and welcoming ceremony for your new pet. We will work together to design a ceremony that acknowledges your new pet to your family, friends and community.
Anyone can be involved in the ceremony — it is particularly good for children to be involved so they can be part of their new pet’s life right from the start.
Pet Naming Ceremony includes:
- Professional delivery of your ceremony
- Initial meeting
- Open contact for any questions
- Sample Pet Naming ceremony certificates for selection
A “My Promise to look after my Pet” contract for children to sign to remind them of their dedication to their new pet.- A pet “I promise to love my owner and be good where I can” with their paw print as their signature
- A written copy of your ceremony for you to keep
- A laser printed certificate with your pet’s name designed by a local Blue Mountains artist

Pet Funerals
Having to organise a funeral for our beloved pet is never an easy time. A funeral can be the chance for family, friends (human and non-human) to say good-bye and share their feelings, thoughts and memories with others. A funeral represents a final act of love for the pet who has died, literally the last thing you can do for them. But in a very real sense, funerals are not about death, but about a life lived, people touched and memories made.
As a pet owner I understand the importantance of portraying your beloved pet's life and of thanking them for bringing joy to your life. I work with you to develop a funeral or memorial ceremony that expresses this and more.
Pet funeral includes:
- Professional delivery of your ceremony
- Initial meeting
- Open contact for any questions
- Sample Pet Wedding ceremony certificates for selection
- A written copy of your ceremony for you to keep
- A laser printed certificate with your pet’s name designed by a local Blue Mountains artist
